Everyone who tries our ice cream for the first time is astonished by how natural it tastes. Our pear ice cream tastes like pears – only chilled – and our strawberry ice cream like delicately frozen, fresh strawberries. We also like to experiment with creative flavours such as caramel, wild garlic, cookies and cream, or pumpkin seed oil – until they taste so good that we can't wait to share them with you.
The milk we use to make our ice cream doesn't have far to travel. In fact, just a few metres across the farm, from the cowshed to the dairy to production. Next we add local fruit, freshly picked herbs, fine spices from SONNENTOR, and crunchy nuts to the freshly pasteurised milk to create the ice creams you see in our ice cream cabinets.
Our favourite ingredient is of course milk from our own cows, but we still leave it out of some varieties. For our fruit sorbets, for example, we rely entirely on the natural flavour of strawberries, rhubarb, blackcurrants, and many other fruits – depending on which ones are seasonally ripe. Which makes many of our fruit sorbets suitable for vegans (just like some of the cream varieties, of course). And we also have reduced-sugar varieties.
You can enjoy our ice cream in the comfort of your own home thanks to our ice boxes. These practical coolers, which hold 0.5 litres or 1 litre of ice cream, are available in all of our shops, in the factory in Krumbach, and in the café in Parndorf.
